Any 501C3 agency in Steuben County providing human services through education, health and income is eligible to apply for grant funding.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters: The nation’s largest donor-supported and volunteer-supported mentoring network, they make meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers and youth.
Boomerang Backpacks: The mission of Boomerang Backpacks is to nourish low-income elementary students on weekends by providing bags full of food for free and to inspire high school students to experience community service through project-based learning and student internships.
Bowen Center: Providing comprehensive care and treatment for mental and physical health conditions.
Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana: Enhances the quality of life of those affected by cancer by providing meaningful resources, information, and compassionate assistance.
CASA: Court Appointed Special Advocate Program: Trained volunteers give powerless children involved in abuse, custody and visitation issues a voice in court.
Catholic Charities: Empowers people to enrich their quality of life from the foundations of access to resources and opportunities, healthy family function, healthy child development, and freedom from substance dependency.
Easterseals/RISE: Educates persons with disabilities about daily living and also trains disabled adults in physical, social, emotional and vocational growth.
Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry: Encourages hunters and farmers to donate game and livestock to be processed and delivered to local hunger relief agencies.
Steuben County Council on Aging: Committed to assisting older adults and persons with disabilities so that they are able to remain independent in the home of their choice with dignity, thus preventing premature institutionalization.
Steuben County Literacy Coalition: Fosters lifelong learning and improved literacy through high quality and accessible educational opportunities for children and adults in Steuben County.
TLC House - Indiana: Empowers survivors of domestic violence in a safe Transitional Living Center with tools for self sufficiency.
Turning Point Shelter: Fosters a secure and nurturing environment for individuals and families confronting life's struggles.
Well Child Clinic: A free pediatric clinic providing quality preventative medical care including, vision, dental, and physical examinations.
Women In Transition: Women in Transition (WIT)-A Recovery House provides a safe haven for women recovering from drug or alcohol addiction. Angola, Indiana.
